Kyosho 1/18 Ferrari F40 Lightweight (Red)

This is a product I purchased from another site that was listed as unused. In my subjective opinion, it was in beautiful condition, so I only applied modeling wax and stored it in a dark place.

*Since it was opened, I've listed it as "Like New."

I checked it before listing, and the paint condition is very clean, and the opening and closing parts are problem-free. The fit of the rear cowl is good for a mass-produced item, and the gaps on the left and right sides are almost even. When you slowly lower the cowl, it clicks shut lightly.
The protective paper that was inserted in the doors at the time of release was also included, so I removed it once and checked the roof, and the paint was almost perfect.

The packaging shows signs of wear and tear, but there is no damage and it is considered to be in good condition. [Subjective opinion]

*Although I believe this is a product that has been kept very clean and well-cared for, please consider that there may be slight paint degradation that is difficult to see in the images, as it is a Kyosho product that is about 20 years old.

The difference from the standard F40 is that it has OZ Racing wheels, which are lighter than those on the Modena, and a straight muffler without a silencer. To reduce weight, the interior lining has been omitted, and the side windows have been changed to ultra-lightweight Plexiglas racing windows.

*In reality, if Enzo Ferrari hadn't intervened, it was planned to be named L.M. (Le Mans) as the successor to the 288 GTO, but in 1987, it was announced as the F40 as a memorial model for Ferrari's 40th anniversary.

Currently, it can be said that it is a special existence as the last supercar during Enzo Ferrari's lifetime.

Currently, this model is not re-released as a Kyosho renewal version (Solido), so it is considered a rare model that is "Like New" (discontinued Mattel) and difficult to obtain.
